Heiti Mering, Managing Partner & CEO, Digital Logistics Center of Excellence and eFTI Experts
Heiti Mering is one of Europe’s leading practitioners in digital freight transport. With roots in rail and maritime — having co-created the Estonian Railways railcar tracking system and led ERP implementations at Tallink Group — he brings deep multimodal experience to his current work: building eFTI platforms and national eFTI Gates from the ground up, and actively shaping the EU’s digital supply chain infrastructure in collaboration with industry and government across 20+ countries.
As a founder of Digital Logistics Center of Excellence and eFTI Experts, Heiti synchronizes experience and development across Europe’s three major eFTI implementation consortia, creating synergies that drive a coherent vision: a transparent, neutral, and sustainable digital supply chain for Europe. Recognized by the European Commission as one of a select group of experts in cross-border digital logistics networks, his work spans regulatory architecture, hands-on technical development, and cross-border pilot coordination — including the Swedish-Estonian Baltic corridor — building practical knowledge that is shared across countries, industries, and institutions, from the Nordics to the Western Balkans and the Caribbean.
A trusted advisor to national governments and EU institutions on freight digitalization strategy, Heiti brings a rare combination of deep technical expertise and practical implementation experience to help enterprises navigate the transition to paperless, data-driven supply chains.

Puheenvuoro KuljetusAreenassa:
