Accessibility

All of Paviljonki’s meeting and public areas are easily accessible. The building has automatically opening external doors. The corridors and doorways are wide. We do our best to make Paviljonki work equally for all its users. Our staff will advise and assist clients with physical disabilities and sensory impairments.

The building has 4 floors. There is an elevator in the Lutakonaukio lobby with a door that opens automatically. The elevator provides access to all floors of the building and to the Restaurant. Elevator floor numbers are palpable with fingers. Interior doors stand out clearly.

Encore, Tempo and Intro are auditoriums. There is space for wheelchair users and their assistants. Other conference and meeting rooms have flat floors.

Entrance Lutakonaukio

The passage to the entrance is smooth and wide enough and illuminated. The entrance is clearly distinguished and has a canopy above it. There is enough free space outside the door for eg a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a button.

Entrance Uno Savolan katu

Paviljonki parking garages are P-Paviljonki 1 (Satamakatu 3) and P-Paviljonki 2 (Uno Savolan katu 6). The parking areas are managed by Jyväs-Parkki Oy and all P areas are subject to a fee.

All parking garages have parking spaces for the disabled, which are also subject to a charge. The width of the parking space is at least 3.6 m. In addition, there are a few disabled parking spaces by the wall of the P-Paviljonki 2 building on Uno Savolan katu.

If the squares adjacent to Paviljonki are not in use for events, it is possible to park to them (ask instructions from the Paviljonki staff).

NB! The garage has an elevator, the door of which opens automatically. Elevator floor numbers are palpable. The exit layer button stands out.

The stopping point for escort traffic is located near the entrances (max. 5 meters), from which the entrances can be easily accessed.

The accessible toilet facilities of the building are located on the first floor next to the Lutakonaukio and Uno Savolan katu lobbies and on the third floor (lift access).

Customers with reduced mobility are allowed to bring their assistants for free to all Paviljonki’s events, including concerts and exhibitions. The assistant ticket is free of charge for clients who require a personal assistant due to an injury or a long-term illness in order to visit Paviljonki.
