What is paviljonki?
Paviljonki is one of the largest and most versatile event centers in Finland, where hundreds of different events are organized every year!
We organize events ourselves, such as popular consumer and trade fairs as well as other events in Paviljonki and elsewhere in Finland. We produce events and rent Paviljonki’s convertible spaces to other event organizers as well. The expertise of our full-service event agency includes managing the entire event process – from planning to execution!
Jyväskylä Fair Ltd is the company behind Paviljonki, which is responsible for Paviljonki’s business as a whole.
OUR STORY
Jyväskylä Fair was founded in 1936 as a registered union and the company form changed to limited company in 1986. Jyväskyla Fair Ltd is one of the largest fair organizers in the Nordic countries and our longest continuously organized event is Jyväskylän Rakennusmessut, which has been organized under slightly varying names more than 40 times.
The largest shareholders of Jyväskylä Fair Ltd are the city of Jyväskylä, Osuuskauppa Keskimaa, Mediakonserni Keskisuomalainen and Keski-Suomen Osuuspankki.
Paviljonki was built in 1999. Jyväskylä Fair Ltd operated in the existing exhibition halls at that time, but after the new congress wing was completed, a common marketing name, Jyväskylän Paviljonki, was adopted.
Until 2019, congress operations was run by Jyväskylän Kongressikeskus Oy, which at that time merged with Jyväskylä Fair Ltd. With the merger, Paviljonki’s brand was rebranded and the name was shortened to Paviljonki.
In 2025, we updated our strategy. The basic pillars of our strategy are effectiveness, courage, customer orientation and success together.

Service Partners
Our restaurant partner, Food&Events, plans and implements event-specific catering, from cafeteria services to dinner services.
There are four fixed restaurant points in Paviljonki. In addition to fixed points, we make pop-up restaurant points for events, the number and location of which we plan according to the event.
Taste experiences are always implemented according to the customer’s wishes. Whether you wanted a three-course dinner for your event or a buffet, Food&Events will make your wishes come true!
Bondata (formerly Go On), which provides personnel and research services as a service partner, is responsible for event-time personnel in Paviljonki.
Bondata provides personnel for the events organized in the Paviljonki, from the construction and planning phase to the practical implementation on the event days. Bondata’s personnel work extensively at our events, for example as event assistants, customer service tasks, decorations, and construction tasks in exhibition technology.
The cleaning service company N-Clean is responsible for the cleaning in Paviljonki. N-Clean provides cleaning services for every stage of the events organized in the Paviljonki, pre-event cleaning, on-call cleaning during the event, and post-event cleaning.
The personnel responsible for the security of the events organized in Paviljonki is provided by K-S Turvamiehet Oy.
Together with KST, we plan and implement comprehensive event security for every part of the event, from the construction phase to the demolition phase.
Our service partner Sähköveijarit Oy produces the planning and implementation of event-specific electrical work in Paviljonki.
Sähköveijarit Oy does versatile electrical work for events organized in Paviljonki, including electrification of trade fair stands and other electrical connections as needed.
In the fall of 2025, MKO Ympäristöpalvelut (currently part of Verdis Oy) started as Paviljonki’s waste management partner.
With the waste management partner, we improve waste sorting, reduce the amount of waste and develop the reuse of waste material, which supports Paviljonki’s responsibility work.
MKO Ympäristöpalvelut is a full-service waste management partner for the needs of companies in Central Finland. The services are designed to offer cost-effective and customized options for implementing waste management.
Rajupaja Oy produces versatile event technology implementations for events organized in Paviljonki.
Rajupaja Oy’s service offering in Paviljonki includes, among other things, light, image and sound technology, live photography/stream productions and the related technical and event furniture and the construction of stage realizations.
Our people!
Today, just under 30 people work permanently in Paviljonki in various positions. During event times, our staff is multiplied with the help of hired labor.
