Technology exhibition Tekniikka 2010 gathered more than 10,000 visitors to the Congress and Exhibition centre Jyväskylä Paviljonki

The technology exhibition Tekniikka 2010, closed on Thursday, was a success. According to preliminary counts, during the three exhibition days 10,180 professionals of the automation industry visited the Congress and Exhibition Centre Jyväskylä Paviljonki. Ilari Tervakangas, Sales Director of Jyväskylä Fair Ltd., was satisfied with both the number of visitors and the duration of time spent at the exhibition:

”A visitor count exceeding 10,000 can be considered really good in these times. According to preliminary data from the visitor survey, the major part of visitors stayed in the halls for several hours many of them spending the whole day at the exhibition. This indicates that the Tekniikka exhibition is not just a place to stop by on the way home, but people are really serious about it and want to take the most of it by visiting as many stands as possible”, Tervakangas summarizes.

According to Tervakangas: "A factor even more important than the number of visitors at technical professional exhibitions is the quality of visitors, and the exhibitors seem to have been very satisfied particularly with this. Both the visitors and the exhibitors got what they had wanted. The Tekniikka exhibition proved to be an active business forum once again.”

The Tekniikka 2010 exhibition was arranged at the Congress and Exhibition Centre Jyväskylä Paviljonki between the 5th and 7th of October. The exhibition comprises the main areas of industrial automation and maintenance solutions, electronics, subcontracting, software, tools, training and recruitment.
