Exhibition visitors with serious intentions
Electricity, Telecommunications, Light & Audiovisual 2010 attracted almost
16 000 visitors
According to preliminary figures, almost 16
000 visitors attended the Electricity, Telecommunications, Light &
Audiovisual 2010 exhibition which closed on Friday. The attendance at this
exhibition, arranged at the Congress and Trade Fair Centre Jyväskylä
Paviljonki, maintained the high level of the previous similar event arranged
in 2008. Ilari Tervakangas, the sales director of Jyväskylä Fair Ltd. was
satisfied with both the number of visitors and the duration of time spent at
the exhibition:
”According to the preliminary data from the
visitor survey, people stayed for several hours, often for the whole day.
This is a clear indication of the attendants’ serious intentions and
willingness to get to know the offering profoundly. This electricity
exhibition is not just an event to stop by when returning home from work,”
Tervakangas says.
Buses full of enthusiastic visitors came from
all parts of Finland. Many had selected a group excursion and there was also
a special train from the Southern Finland particularly for this exhibition.
The international event attracted also many foreigners.
The next Electricity, Telecommunications,
Light & Audiovisual exhibition will be arranged at Jyväskylä Paviljonki in
February 1 to 3, 2012.
